Campillos, Spain, Rotax Max Euro Trophy Winter Cup done. In Qualifying position 26. In qualifying heats positions 13., 17. and 9. so the starting position for the Final 1 was 26. Miro had a good start and managed to gain 15 positions in three laps. He was driving in position 11. when one of the drivers decided to run over Miro. Miro was forced to retire, so for the Final 2 starting position was 34. In Final 2 Miro was able to fight his way to position 25. Overall postition was 26/51. Miro had good pace and bad luck in the Finals, but he will never give up. We will be back in Genk....stronger. Beware!
In season 2020 I will participate to three Rotax Max series. Rotax Max Challenge Euro Trophy, Rotax Nordic Challenge and Rotax Max Challenge Finland.
I have been driving karts since I was 6 years old. It all started in 2012, when we rented a kart with my dad. After few training sessions my dad bouhght me my first own kart.
2013 was first season when I actually raced for the first time. I participated to Monako FK tuesday races and trained driving with my dad as a mechanic. Everything was new to both of us, but we learned quite a lot by training the whole sesason.

Rotax Nordic Challenge and RMC Finland, Vantaa, Finland 19.7 - 21.7.2019
On Saturday the Rotax Nordic Challenge competition number 2 was held in Vantaa. There were 18 participants in Junior class. We had a good speed all the time from training to the Finals. In the qualifying practice Miro was 6th fastest so the starting position was quite good. In the Pre-Final our bad luck continued. Miro was pushed out of the track and was forced to retire from the Pre-Final. In the Final, Miro rose nicely to 9th place but eventually dropped to 11th place so the starting place for the last Final was 11th. Again, Miro made a nice ascent and finished 5th. Nice driving Miro. 5th in Rotax Nordic Challenge and 3rd in RMC Finland.
Sunday's warm-up promised good. Miro was the fastest on the track with a tenth of the second difference to the 2nd. In the qualifying practice, Miro's pace was also good and he managed to conquer the 5th place in starting grid for the Heat 1. In Heat 1 Miro gained one position and finished 4th. In the Pre-Final start, Miro had a bad luck and was dropped to 9th place. After good driving he was able to gain up few postitions to the 7th place. In Final Miro drove like a pro and was able to gain 3th position. In lap 18 Miro was pushed out of the track and he dropped to the 6th place. In the final lap Miro made a nice move by passing two opponents in same turn and was 4th in the finish line. Driver who pushed Miro out of the track was penalized so Miro's final position was 3rd. First podium of the season. Great racing!
Rotax Euro Trophy, Kristianstad, Sweden 12.7 - 14.7.2019
This race was the hard one. We didn't manage to find the pace at all in dry conditions. When it was raining our pace was 9th fastest so we hoped for a wet race for the finals. I didn't happend.
Qualifying practice was driven in semi-wet conditions so everything looked good for awhile, but the the track dried up. Miro was not able to improve the lap time so the grid postition for the
qualifying heat A-B was 9th. In heat A-B Miro was dropped to the 11th place. In heat A-C Miro's starting position was also 9th and he was dropped again to the 11th position. Compined result for the Finals
starting grid was 15th. In the Final 1 Miro was dropped to the 17th place after some collisions with other competitors. Bad luck followed us on the Final 2 and again after some crashes Miro's final position was 19th. We can forget this race and move on. The overall position in Kristianstad was 21th out of 24 drivers. :(

RMC Finland, Kotka, Finland 29.6. - 30.6.2019
On Saturday's race qualifying time was not what we exepcted. 6th position for the heat 1. In heat 1 Miro was able to gain 5th position. In Pre-final after good fight with Sokka the position was 6th. In the Final Miro kept 6th place so the Saturday's race was a dissapointment. On Sunday everything looked good. 4th place in qualifying session was very satisfying. Good place to start hunting for the podium. In the heat 1 Miro was able to get the 3th position but dropped then back to 4th position. What happend then was unforgivable....and no penalties!!! Miro dropped to the 10th position but he was able to gain one place. 9th place in starting grid in the Pre-Final. In Pre-Final Miro gained 3 places so the starting place for the Final was 6th. In the Final Miro was not able keep up the pace and after one bad mistake he was dropped to 9th. The final position on Sunday's race was 7th.
My next two races are RMC Finland, Kotka and Rotax Euro Trophy in Sweden.
Rotax Nordic Challenge, Ropazi, Latvia 14.6.-15.6.2019
In practice we were way behind from the top 3. About 1 second behind. After intense driving and setting up the chassis we were able to get to top 10 in lap times.
On Friday qualifying practice Miro was not able to get good lap so the starting grid position for the pre-final was 13th. In the first final Miro was able to gain few positions so the final position was
8th. Unfortunately he was penalized five-second time penalty for the loosen front wing. The starting position for the second final was 13th. In second final Miro drove aggressively and gained 5th position, but in the final lap after good fighting he lost couple of places and the final position was 8th.
